To provide a patient motion detecting device in which a nurse call responds and operates responding to a clip coming off or a patient disengaging the clip.
In the patient motion detecting device, electrodes are attached to the clip and the clip and a bar are connected a detecting switch for drawing out of the bar housed in the detecting device from the electrode in parallel via electroconductive wires so as to detect both the coming off of the clip and the drawing out of the bar, the length of the electroconductive wires attached from the clip to parallel connecting points or a case of the detecting device to the connector is set substantially longer than that of a code connected to the clip to the bar such that the switch for drawing out is energized/unenergized by drawing out the bar and both the electrodes of the clip are energized/unenergized in a parallel connecting circuit by disengaging the clip. Thereby, it is also possible to detect the coming off of the clip.
