Abstract:

To provide a patient position setting unit capable of setting the position of a patient in a short time in a treatment room.

The patient position setting unit includes a detachable top plate 5; a first driving device 9b and a second driving device 9a both for driving the top plate 5; and a conveying device 20 for conveying the top plate 5. The first driving device 9b and the second driving device 9a have positioning parts 13 for determining a position relationship to the top plate 5 at respective top plate support parts 3. The conveying device 20 conveys the positioned patient 15 and top plate 5 to the first driving device 9b from the second driving device 9a having the top plate 5 installed at a predetermined position using the positioning part 13. The first driving device 9b installs the top plate 5 and the patient 15 secured to the top plate 5 into a predetermined position using the positioning part 13, and drives the top plate 5 and the patient 15 into a state positioned by the second driving device 9a based on a driving device parameter positioned by the second driving device 9a.
