PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support to operators when transporting a patient using a patient transportation device.SOLUTION: A patient transportation system comprises: a patient transportation device (2) which is configured to be docked with a medical device (1) and has a plurality of wheels (11, 12, 13, 14, 15); detection devices (21, 22, 231, 232) which detect information (4, 7, 71); and a control unit (5) which changes at least one wheel position of at least one wheel among the plurality of wheels, according to the plurality of pieces of information (4, 7, 71) detected by the detection devices (21, 22, 231, 232).
