This patrol management system has a plurality of terminal devices 1 each installed to each patrol place, and a management device 2 connected to the terminal devices 1 via a communication network 3. The terminal device 1 has an input part 4 inputting patrolman identification information, entry/exit information concerning entry/exit of the patrol place, and patrol information concerning patrol contends; and a communication part 6 automatically transmitting entry/exit date/time information and terminal identification information identifying the terminal device 1 together with the information inputted by the input part 4. The management device 2 has a communication part 9 receiving the patrolman identification information, the entry/exit information, the patrol information, the terminal identification information and the entry/exit date/time information; a patrol schedule generation part 11 generating a patrol schedule for each the patrolman on the basis of information of a database 10 storing the received information; and a diligence information generation part 12 generating diligence information of each the patrolman based on the information of the database 10.
