PURPOSE: To provide a patrol terminal equipment capable of displaying a map and additional information on a screen and correcting the information displayed on the spot.
CONSTITUTION: The present position is calculated by a GPS receiver. Based on the arithmetic result, the topographical map (i) and the mark M at the present position are displayed on a liquid-crystal display screen 18a. Further, the route Fa of a transmission line and the estimated installation position Fb of the steel tower are displayed on this screen as additional information. The state of the field can be immediately grasped with the screen. The view in the direction shown by arrow Ma can be graphically displayed (ii). The additional information can be corrected on the screen and the corrected data are stored in a storage part or transmitted by a communication module.
