CONSTITUTION: A regular hexagonal pattern recognizing cell 14 is arranged at the intersection of plural parallel axes L15-L20 being arranged in parallel and at equal interval for three fundamental axes L11-L13 crossing at angles of 60°. Six pattern recognizing cells in total neighboring to the pattern recognizing cell 14 are prepared, and also, the distance between their centers are set equally. It follows that the same function of the side suppression mechanism to be assembled to detect the edge of a pattern to be recognized, etc., with the pattern recognizing device can be attached on all the adjacent six pattern recognizing cell 14. In such a way, entire constitution can be remarkably simplified, and the manufacturing of the pattern recognizing device can be facilitated.
