PURPOSE: To provide a patterned injection molded product wherein a pattern and other design are applied to a base pattern, by a method wherein design cloth having a relatively coarse mesh and cloth having a relatively fine mesh are superposed to be provided in a mold under tension and a synthetic resin is injected on the side of the relatively fine mesh cloth to perform injection molding and two kinds of the cloths adhered to the surface of the molded product are subsequently released.
CONSTITUTION: Relatively coarse mesh design cloth having a pattern, a surface shape and unevenness, for example, lace having a decorative or decorated design and relatively fine mesh cloth having a woven or knitted pattern are prepared. The fine mesh cloth is superposed on the coarse mesh cloth and a mold cavity for injection molding is covered with both cloths under tension so that the coarse mesh cloth is positioned on the side of the injection nozzle of said mold cavity and both cloths are simply fixed to the upper and lower of the mold on the outside thereof by an adhesive tape or an adhesive. The mold is closed and engaged, and a thermally melted resin injected from an injection nozzle and cooled and solidified to obtain a molded product having two kinds of the cloths adhered to the surface thereof. After or when this molded product is taken out of the mold, both cloths are released to obtain a patterned injection molded product to which the surface shapes, uneven states and patterns of both cloths are transferred is obtained.
