This patting apparatus is equipped with a pad 19 which is placed on the skin of a user and performs patting, a solenoid 18 which drives the pad in such a manner that the pad may perform a reciprocating motion, a means which drives the solenoid by a designated strength and in a designated direction, and a means 17 which controls the solenoid driving means on the basis of an instruction from the user. By this apparatus, patting at a desired strength and speed can be easily performed only for a desired section only for a required time.
