To provide a pavement construction method, filling an asphalt mixture material layer with milk-like material to an intended uniform thickness.
A predetermined quantity of milk-like material such as cement milk is disposed on the surface 3 of the asphalt mixture layer 2, and caused to permeate into the asphalt mixture layer 2 by oscillation. A compressor is used to compress the air, and the compressed air is sprayed from above to a residual region 41 where the cement milk remains on the surface 3, thereby transferring a surplus 4A of the cement milk positioned in the residual region 41 to deficient regions 42, 43, thereby compensating for the deficiencies 4B, 4C of the cement milk. Thus, the top surface 4a of the cement milk 4 which has not been flat before spraying is flattened. This air spraying is performed for all of residual regions visually confirmed on the surface 3.
