Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the time and labor required for paving a road surface having elasticity, by laying a plurality of paving boards which have elasticity in a channel space. CONSTITUTION: A road base 20 is formed in a trench 18 formed by excavating the ground 16, below the opened surface of the trench so as to define a channel space 12. Each of pavement boards 14 is formed of a surface layer 30, composed of a heavy weight layer 26, a net-like reinforcing member 28 laid on the heavy weight layer and an elastic particulate material 34 laid on the reinforcing member 28. Furthermore, the paving boards 14 are introduced into a sidewalk construction site formed therein with a channel space 12 and are fitted in the channel space 12 with their side faces are abutted one another.
