Abstract:
To provide a pavement structure capable of controlling a drainage direction to a desired direction and capable of discharging underground water in the pavement structure and the water intruding into the pavement structure from the surface of the pavement structure and the side of the pavement structure even when the inside of the pavement structure is in an unsaturated state.SOLUTION: A pavement structure 2 is provided with a roadbed 4, a base course 6 laid above the roadbed 4, a surface layer 8 laid above the base course 6, an underground drainage groove 10 formed in the roadbed 4, and a water-absorbing sheet 12 in which water-absorbing fibers are woven in a predetermined direction and which has drainage parts 12a, 12b for discharging water absorbed by the fibers. The drainage parts 12a,12b of the water-absorbing sheet 12 are connected to the underground drainage groove 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
