Abstract:
To provide a pavement structure and paving method for a bridge which can suppress deformation of a precast slab joint part during traveling of a vehicle and which is not damaged during pavement replacement work.SOLUTION: In a pavement structure for a bridge according to the present invention, a concrete layer is provided on a floor slab formed of a plurality of precast slabs which are arranged side by side. The concrete layer may function as a pavement, or an asphalt pavement may be placed on the concrete layer. In either case, the load of a vehicle traveling on the pavement laid on the floor slab formed of the precast slabs is dispersed over the entire surface of the precast slabs via the concrete layer, allowing the concentration of the load on the precast slab joint part to be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
