Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the upper side edge section of a paving block from being worn away or damaged while eliminating chamfereing-work which increases the cost of the paving block, clearly form and ensure required joint voids and to construct a block pavement capable of maintaining a good appearance of the surface of the pavement at a low cost.
SOLUTION: Vertical and horizontal joint gutters C are formed on the upper ends of partition walls 5 and 6 dividing and forming a plurality of fitting spaces (a) in peripheral surface surrounding walls 1-4, collar pieces 1'-4' lowered and extended outward from the upper ends of the peripheral surface surrounding walls are fitted to each other with permanent box-shaped frames adjacent to each other to constitute block pavement bodies E by fitting the surfaces of paving blocks D being made flush with the upper ends of the peripheral surface surrounding walls and partition walls to the fitting spaces (a) of synthetic resin box-shaped frames A forming joint gutters B. A plurality of block pavement bodies D are linked with each other and are laid on the substrate F in all directions while forming the joint gutters B by fitting them with the collar pieces 1'-4'.
