PURPOSE: To prevent a cord extended from a plug connected to a PC card from interfering the housing of an equipment such as a personal computer and another PC card by providing a jack and the cord, which are housed in a card main body so that they can be pulled out.

CONSTITUTION: The jack 23 is housed in a hole 21a formed at the end side of the card main body 21. The jack 23 is divided into a connector part 23a and a base part 23b. The almost rectangular hole into which the plug is inserted is opened on the upper main surface of the connector part 23a. The connector part 23a is supported by a rotation shaft 23c from the base part 23b so that it can rotate in a surface perpendicular to the principal surface of the PC card 20. A contact point 23d is electrically connected to an electric circuit in the card main body 21 by the flexible cord 24 passing through the inside of the rotation shaft 23c. Since the jack 23 rotates by 360°, the plug can be inserted into a rotation surface from an arbitrary direction.
