Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PC-equipped POS device to/from which an input-output device is easily attached/detached in the case of relocation, layout change and maintenance.
SOLUTION: A POS control board 2 being a control board having a POS function is expanded to a general purpose type PC main body 1, and connectors 21 to 23 formed on the board 2 are connected to a connector relay box 3 in which relay connectors 31 to 33 connecting to a peripheral device such as a keyboard 4 or a printer 6 are provided. The box 3 is also provided with a post 51 holding a display 51 for customers. According to this configuration, a connector for attaching and detaching is arranged at the side face of the box 3, and the attachment and detachment of an input-output device is easy in the case of relocation, layout change and maintenance. The box 3 is also used as a pedestal for the display 5 so as not to expand the installation pace for the input-output device.
