To provide a PCB concentration determination method and a device therefor capable of measuring simply and quickly the PCB concentration in a liquid sample such as a transformer oil including an insulating oil for a pole transformer.
In this method for determining the PCB concentration in the liquid sample which is supposed to include halogen compounds including PCB, the halogen concentration in the liquid sample is measured, and the PCB concentration is calculated from the measured halogen concentration based on correlation between the halogen concentration and the PCB concentration. This PCB concentration determination device is constituted so that an atomizing means for atomizing the liquid sample is attached to a sample introduction means of a means for measuring the halogen concentration in the liquid sample, to thereby enable quick and continuous supply of the liquid sample.
