Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having activity as a PDE10 inhibitor.SOLUTION: A compound inhibiting PDE10 has usability in treatment of various conditions (including (but not limited to) mental disorder, anxiety disorder, movement disorder and/or neurological disorder (for example, Parkinson disease, Huntington disease, Alzheimer disease, encephalitis, phobia, epilepsy, aphasia, Bell palsy, cerebral palsy, sleep disorder, pain, Tourette syndrome, schizophrenia, delusional disorder, drug-induced psychosis, and panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder) is disclosed. Pharmaceutically acceptable salts, stereoisomers, solvates and prodrugs of the compound are also provided. A composition comprising the compound in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a method related to its use in order to inhibit PDE10 in a warm-blooded animal requiring inhibition are also disclosed.
