Title:
PEAK CUT CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016100850
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peak cut circuit capable of achieving an output waveform that is peak-cut at a reference voltage even when a load is drastically changed.SOLUTION: A peak cut circuit comprises: a first operational amplifier circuit that receives an AC input signal, and at whose output side a load is connected without interposing an impedance; and a second operational amplifier circuit that has a first operational amplifier for comparing an output voltage of the first operational amplifier circuit with a reference voltage when the output voltage is in a positive half cycle, and a second operational amplifier for comparing the output voltage of the first operational amplifier circuit with the reference voltage when the output voltage is in a negative half cycle. In addition, the peak cut circuit comprises a feedback circuit that, when the output voltage is larger than the reference voltage in the positive or negative half cycle, adds a positive or negative voltage depending on the difference between them to the input signal inputted to the first operational amplifier circuit. Due to this feedback circuit, during a time period when an absolute value of the output voltage of the first operational amplifier circuit becomes larger than the reference voltage, the output voltage is cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
