Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a belt which may three-dimensionally transmit power while repeating associating operation of multi-spindles, rapid stop of operation, which is effective in taking out reciprocating operation and partial normal or reverse rotation, and which has a high speed and a high degree of efficiency in a small volumetric space. CONSTITUTION:2-4 cable cords each obtained by twisting long of soft synthetic resin fibers having a high modulus and a minimum bending fatigue limit and having a diameter of 0.5-1.0mm., are stretched and laid to form a high strength core member which is protected and covered with a material of liquid rubber, urethane, etc. to form a cover layer 3. The high strength core member is finished to have the cross-sectional area of the cover and protect layer which is as large as about 120% of that of the core member, and therefore, a high strength core member part 2 may be formed. Further, pawl projections 4 having a size which is 2.5-3 times large as the cross-sectioned size of the high strength core member part are formed at pitches of 2-2.5 times, thereby obtain an endless belt 1.
