To change the attitude of a pedal bracket 17 to suppress moving of a pedal part 16 of an operation pedal 15 supported on the pedal bracket 17 to a rear side of a vehicle body when the pedal bracket 17 retreats in accordance with a collision of an automobile.
A first guide member 53 and a second guide member 54 are fixed to an instrument panel member 9. The pedal bracket 17 is provided with an abutting part 41 for a guide. The pedal bracket 17 and the first guide member 53 are detachably fastened. When the pedal bracket 17 retreats in accordance with the collision of the automobile, the abutting part 41 slides by abutting on the first guide member 53 after the fastening is detached. The abutting part 41 slides by abutting on the second guide member 54. By both of the guide members 53 and 54, the attitude of the pedal bracket 17 is changed.
