Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design and provide a high grade appearance by invisibly fitting the fixing screw although it is formed by a press.
SOLUTION: A metallic plate is shaped to form a nearly boat-shaped hollow cup by a deep drawing process of a press and grooves 11, 11 are formed at both upper and lower ends of the external face of the cup body, while ridges are left at both sides. A pedestal 1 in which a screw hole 12 and arbitrary number of fixing holes 13, 14 are opened in respective groves, is integrally protruded together with fixing pieces 41, 42 foxed or unfixed in the fixing holes and provided with a pair synthetic resin caps 4, 4 covering respective grooves 11 and the fitting screws 9. A fin 45 having a curved face recessed inward is integrally formed at the ridge of cap to correspond to the pedestal ridge provided with a curves face in the groove, so that the external face of pedestal is flush with the external face of cap, when the cap is set on the grooves 11.
