To provide a pedestrian assisting system and an information communication assisting method for a remote maintenance while an initial cost and a running cost are suppressed to minimum.
The pedestrian assisting system is provided which comprises a roadside radio device 11 which is connected to an assisting center 13 through a network 12, and comprises a memory in which an information is stored. Here, a large number of roadside radio devices 11 are installed in such manner as a maintenance master station 11A is separately provided from a maintenance subsidiary station 11B, and the information stored in the memory is maintained by a weak radio communication procedure between the maintenance master station 11A and the maintenance subsidiary station 11B.
