Abstract:
To provide a pedometer for reducing power consumption.
The pedometer 100 includes: a walking signal output part for detecting walking of a user and outputting a corresponding walking signal; a walking determining part for determining whether the user is walking or not on the basis of the walking signal; a counting part for counting the walking signal; a display part 108 for displaying the number of steps counted by the counting part; and a control part 101 for controlling the display part. The control part controls to update the display of the number of steps displayed in the display part in each predetermined period when the walking determining part determines that the user is walking.
