Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedometer, with which a measuring error does not occur even when a switch or the like is operated during measurement.
SOLUTION: In a step S41 of a figure 6, it is discriminated whether a key S3 such as a key for displaying lap time is operated or not. When it is discriminated the key is operated during the measurement of a stopwatch, the lap time is stored and the measuring of the number of steps taken is inhibited for two seconds (steps S41-S44). After the number of steps taken during the last 5 seconds is divided with '5', the number of steps taken during 2 seconds is found by multiplying '2' and respectively added to the number of steps taken during 20 seconds in a register N1 and the number of steps taken during 5 seconds in a register N3 (steps S45 and S46).
