Title:
PEDOMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3840419
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedometer capable of being used at any posture, capable of reducing the thickness of a vibration sensor portion, and capable of being reduced in size.
SOLUTION: A vibration sensor 10 is provided with a ring-like conductive contact member 12 and a conductive rotating weight 15 having a contact part 15e on the outer periphery thereof. The rotating weight 15 is rotatably disposed at the center part of the contact member 12 so that the contact part 15e is faced downward by the self-weight thereof and movable in the vertical direction in the downwardly facing state of the contact part 15e, and vertically energized in the downwardly facing state of the contact part 15e. The rotating weight 15 is vertically moved by the vertical vibration of the pedometer (vibration sensor 10), the contact part 15e of the rotating weight 15 comes into contact with the contact member 12, and the number of contacts is counted by a CPU 3. The rotating weight 15 can be rotated 360°.
