To provide a peel testing apparatus performing a 90° peel test with high precision at low cost and capable of corresponding, even for another peel test, including a new testing method which has not been developed thus far.

The peel testing apparatus 1 is equipped with: a member 30 to be pasted, having a surface 38 to be pasted on which a test piece 2 is pasted and supported on a support shaft 34, in a freely revolvable manner; a grasping member 50 for grasping one end of the test piece 2 pasted on the member 30 to be pasted; a moving mechanism 20 moving the member 30 to be pasted, in a substantially horizontal direction to allow the same to approach and separate, with respect to the grasping member 50, a control device 70 for controlling the moving mechanism 20 and a load-measuring instrument 40 for measuring the load applied to the grasping member 50.
