Title:
PEELING MATERIAL FOR IMPRINTED METAL FOIL CHARACTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP03287682
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a peeling material which makes it possible to remove imprinted metal foil characters in a simple peeling operation in a short time without any damage to a base material imprinted with the characters by mixing a principal component comprising chloroform, an auxiliary component comprising methyl ethyl ketone, and a stabilizing component consisting of a silicone oil and liquid paraffin each in a specified percentage.

CONSTITUTION: 89% principal component comprising chloroform is mixed with 10% auxiliary component comprising methyl ethyl ketone and a stabilizing component consisting of 0.5% silicone oil and 0.5% liquid paraffin to give a peeling material used for peeling imprinted metal foil characters. When applied to the imprinted metal foil parts, this material penetrates to the rear of the parts, so that the peeling of the foil can be facilitated. Therefore, the peeling operation is simple and can be completed in a short time without any damage to the base material imprinted with the characters.
