To provide a peeling tool capable of easily and lightly peeling fixed parts, fitted to the displays of printers, flat-screen TV sets, PC, etc. with double-sided adhesive tapes for prevention of tumbling down, from the displays in the manner free from occurrence of damage on the fixation surface or leaving of any remnants of deposits to the fixation surface.
When transferring or removing a printer, a pressing member 18 and a belt-shape flat panel 13 are withdrawn from the stumbling prevention appliance 10; after such withdrawal, a base fixing member 17 is left to be attached to the side face of the printer by means of double-sided adhesive tapes 178. In this situation, the pressing portion of a peeling tool 1 is inserted to a groove 172 of the base fixing member 17, and the holding portion 102 of the peeling tool 1 is turned in parallel with the fixation surface, thereby peeling off the base fixing member 17.
