PURPOSE: To mold pellets with ≤8% moisture content without using hot steam, by containing 10W45% Guinea pepper component and 10W50% garlic component so as to provide 4W6% total content of fat and oil-containing components.

CONSTITUTION: Guinea pepper flour in an amount of 10W45% based on the total weight of pellets for a feed is homogeneously blended with garlic flour in an amount of 10W50% based on the total weight of the pellets and fat and oil-containing components in the total content of 4W6% based on the weight of the pellets. The resultant blend is then molded through a pressure discharge hole having 2W5mm caliber of a pellet mill molding machine into the pellets. Since the resultant pellets for the feed are molded by adjusting the fat and oil content with the Guinea pepper content without using hot steam, the total content of at and oil-containing components contained is 4W6% with ≤8% moisture content. The pellets thus produced have good palatability as a feed for broilers, hens for ovum collection, etc., with hardly any deterioration in molding pellets or preserving the product. The pellets can be readily prepared without solidifying the garlic or clogging pressure discharging holes in production thereof.
