Abstract:
To provide a novel adsorbent that is inexpensive and has high adsorptivity and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A pellet-like vinyl chloride resin composition has: a polyvinyl chloride polymer prepared by suspension polymerization; a binder sol including a mixture of polyvinyl chloride polymer prepared by emulsion polymerization and 5-40 pts.wt. of a plasticizer; and a stabilizer. The pellet-like vinyl chloride resin composition is granulated into a spherical or cylindrical shape, the binder sol fixes the shape of the granules, and the porosity is 0.1-0.5 ml/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
