To provide a pedant circle fluorescent lamp luminaire capable of outputting symmetrical security light from a cover and made hard to swing, with a switch string disposed in the counter.

A luminaire body 10 suspended from a ceiling surface is provided. Circle fluorescent lamps 20 are provided horizontally disposed on the side of an under surface of the luminaire body 10. A cover 30 is mounted in the center of the under surface of the luminaire body 10. A switch string 40 hung down from the luminaire body 10 along its central vertical line and extending downward through a hole 32 formed in the center of the cover 30. Provision of a security bulb usually positioned on the upper surface side of the cover 30 is omitted. The cover 30 is adapted to be a fluorescent that emits light by storing the light of the circle fluorescent lamps 20.
