Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily joint steel pipe piles with each other, and to penetrate the steel pipe pile perpendicularly into the ground while securing the safety of the steel pipe pile under penetration by a tightened part by bolting tightening parts of half-split joints, and pressing the parts to a joint part of the steel pipe piles. SOLUTION: A steel plate is folded to the contour of a steel pipe pile 10 to form half-split joints 1, 1. The ground under a foundation of a building is dug to secure the working space, the steel pipe pile 10 is pressed in by a jack by the prescribed quantity, another steel pipe pile 10 is set thereon, the half-split joints 1, 1 are abutted on a joint part of the steel pipe piles 10, 10, bolts and nuts are inserted in through holes of a tightening part 1d and tightened to be closely attached, the steel pipe piles 10, 10 are pressed into the ground 12 by the jack, and this work is repeated. The tightening part 1d is smoothly penetrated into the ground 12 in a perpendicular direction by a tapered part 1c while preventing the rotation and transverse movement of the steel pipe pile 10. The steep pipe pile 10 can be easily connected and penetrated, and the inclination of the building due to ground settlement can be corrected.
