Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the ground so that it is in the state of base line of 2m underground in depth where a multi-component cone can be measured in a measuring car to reduce the time for measuring works, when the multi-component cone is penetrated in the ground to measure the ground conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A thermostatic bath 10 is loaded in a measuring car and glycerin 11 in the bath is kept at 15°C by a coolant from a temperature adjuster 30, passing through a coil 13 in the bath and the bath is degasified from an evacuation outlet 14 by a vacuum pump 14. The temperature of a multi-component cone 2 is retained at 15°C in the thermostatic bath 10 and pores of a porous filter 2a installed in the multi-component cone are filled with the degasified glycerin liquid. After that, the multi-component cone 2 is fixed to the front end of a rod while blowing 15°C air from the nozzle 31 of the temperature adjuster 30 and lowered in a 2m-deep hole excavated in advance to immediately start the penetration.
