To provide a penetration testing machine, quickly and easily installed in a predetermined attitude.

This penetration testing machine includes: an elevating table 3 elevated along an erected column 2, a chuck 4 provided on the elevated table 3 and holding a penetration rod 6 to freely rock, a rotation driving means 5 for driving the chuck 4 to rotate, and a level member 10 showing the rocking position of the penetration rod 6 held on the chuck 4. The level member 10 is provided with cutouts 10a, 10b, 10c formed to surround a moving passage of the penetration rod 6, and the intersection point C of lines L1, L2 passing the cutouts 10a, 10b, 10c. Thus, the attitude of the penetration testing machine is adjusted so that the center of the penetration rod 6 is aligned with the intersection point C, whereby the penetration testing machine can be installed in a predetermined attitude.
