Title:
PEPTIDE ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006067826
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a peptide array capable of amplifying coupling signals without being nonspecifically affected by a biomolecule in an assaying system using the peptide array and also capable of obtaining highly reliable data particularly in detecting a phosphorylation by a protein kinase using a surface plasmon(SPR) assay.

The peptide array is such that a peptide as a substrate for enzyme reaction is immobilized on a base plate. In this array, a spacer sequence consisting of 2-10, preferably 2-6 amino acid residues is inserted in between a site at which the peptide is immobilized and the peptide as the substrate. Particularly, this peptide array is useful for detecting a phosphorylation by a protein kinase by SPR.
