Abstract:
To provide a method for treating the heart disease based on atherosclerosis.
The present invention relates to fragments of apolipoprotein B, in particular, to defined peptides thereof having therapeutical properties or those as immunity sources against ischemic heart diseases, for immunity sensitization or therapeutic treatment of mammals including humans, as well as diagnosing the presence or absence of antibodies related to increased or decreased risk of developing ischemic heart diseases, using one or more of the peptides in an ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay).
