NEW MATERIAL: A synthesized peptide expressed by formula I and formula II.
USE: Reagent for detection of anti-lymphadenopathy-associated virus(LAV)/human T-lymphadenopathy virus III (HTLVIII) antibody. Diagnostic drug of acquired immunodeficiency syndromes(AIDS).
PREPARATION: For example, a p-benzyloxyalcohol resin is used as a solid phase carrier, on which amino acids with protected amino groups from the C-terminal end according to the amino acid sequence of the peptides are allowed to react in the presence of a condensing agent such as N,N'- dicylohexylcarbodiimide or the like, and then the amino-protective groups are removed. This process is repeated to obtain the peptide resin ester. The obtd. ester is treated with trifluoroacetic acid to detach the peptide from the resin and to remove all protective groups. Thus, the peptides expressed by formula I or formula II can be obtd.
