Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an antimycotic peptide effective against fungi in human body and food and non-toxic to human body.

CONSTITUTION: The objective antimycotic peptide has a structure composed of 51 amino acids successively bonded through peptide bonds, consisting of Ala (the 1st unit), Thr, Tyr, Asn, Gly, Lys, Cys, Tyr, Lys, Lys, Asp, Asn, Ile, Cys, Lys, Tyr, Lys, Ala, Gln, Ser, Gly, Lys, Thr, Ala, Ilr, Cys, Lys, Cys, Tyr, Val, Lys, Lys, Cys, Pro, Aeg, Asp, Gly, Ala, Lys, Cys, Glu, Phe, Asp, Ser, Tyr, Lys, Gly, Lys, Cys, Tyr and Cys (the 51st unit) and having disulfide bonds between the 7th and the 33rd, the 14th and the 40th, the 26th and the 28th, and the 49th and the 51st Cys units.
