PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide having the capacity of binding to a silicon nano-sheet and use thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a peptide having a peptide region having one or plural first amino acid sequence comprising one or plural basic amino acid residue, the peptide having the capacity of binding to a silicon nano-sheet. Binding of the peptide to the silicon nano-sheet makes it possible to modify the surface properties of the silicon nano-sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: None
