Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide which has high selectivity to human hepatocytes, as well as which can be produced in a short time and low cost.SOLUTION: The invention provides a peptide in which a peptide having an amino acid sequence represented by GQNLSVSNPLGFFPEHQL having improved amino acid residues 2-19 of preS1 domain on L protein which is a human hepatocyte recognition site of hepatitis B virus is subjected to N-terminal modification to enhance hydrophobicity of a protein, preferably myristoylation or palmitoylation; and a human hepatocyte-selective drug delivery conjugate having a peptide and drug.
