Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new immunological conjugate material useful for treating HIV infection or HIV disease including AIDS, or useful for formulation of vaccines.
CONSTITUTION: This conjugate material has covalent bonds of principal HIV- neutralizing determinant(PND) peptides, or peptides(PEP) immunologically equivalent therewith, to immuogenic proteins or conjugate proteins(PRO) through an anionic polysaccharide(PSA) linker. The conjugate material is prepared by covalently bonding together independently activated peptides, polysaccharides and protein components.
