Title:
PERCUSSION WIRE LINE SAMPLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3965591
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a core from flowing out owing to circulation water even in a soft ground and securely obtain samples, by protruding the front end of a sampler from the core bit by the urging force of a spring to contact the excavating ground with pressure.
SOLUTION: A sampler 5 is connected to a core barrel head 6 through a spring to constitute an inner tube 3 built-in within an outer tube in which a core tube is screwed at the front end, and a cylinder ring 12 at the front end of the sampler 5 is protruded out of the core bit and set. A latch of the core barrel head 6 is widened to contact the inside face of the outer tube and contracted to lift the sampler 5. In this way, the protruded length of the cylinder ring 12 is varied in accordance with hardness of excavating ground to contact the ground with pressure and prevent outflow of the core resulting from circulating water and get a core in the core tube 13. And hence, a secure sampling work can be carried out even in a soft ground of 30 or a lower N-value.
