Abstract:

To provide a method for improving percutaneous transfer of tranexamic acid to obtain more effective skin whitening, to keep the skin from chapping and to yield improving effect.

The method comprises contacting a composition containing tranexamic acid and of pH3.5-6.5 to the skin and then applying iontophoresis to the skin from anode, or contacting a composition containing tranexamic acid and of pH8.5-10.5 to the skin and then applying iontophoresis to the skin from cathode.
