The perfecting press has an upper gripper and lower grippers and the upper and lower grippers can be revolved around the position central with respect to the introduction of force and the upper gripper cooperates with the gripper stands fixed to a cylinder at a surface printing position. In this system, the upper gripper 12 and the lower grippers 13, 13a and 13b are arranged so as to have a common center line 52 with respect to mutually common gripper stands 31, 31a and 31b.
