PURPOSE: To enable perfect front operation on the front side of a printer and to make the printer small-sized and inexpensive by also using a manual paper feed port as a discharge port of printing paper subjected to double-side printing processing.

CONSTITUTION: A manual paper feed port 4 is also used as a discharge port of printing paper subjected to double-side printing processing. As a result, an exclusive paper delivery part separate from the manual paper feed port can be dispensed with and, since the delivery of printed paper is also performed from the manual paper feed port on the front side of a printer by providing the manual paper feed port to the front of the printer, operability is improved and the peripheral space of the printer can be effectively utilized. Further, a mechanism is simplified and the body of the printer can be miniaturized and decreased in cost.
