Abstract:
To provide a method for refining an acrylic acid derivative with its α-position perfluoroalkylated industrially.
The method for refining the perfluoroalkylacrylic acid comprises the steps of reacting a mixture containing the perfluoroalkylacrylic acid of the general formula [II] (wherein, Rf is a 1-10C perfluoroalkyl) to produce a perfluoroalkylacrylic acid multimer of the general formula [I] or a composition containing the same, and removing the perfluoroalkylacrylic acid out of the system while heating the multimer or the composition to split the multimer.
