The perforated pipe 10 has through-holes 20 formed between ribs 14 of a ribbed pipe 11. The through-holes 20 formed between the low-rigidity ribs 14 of the existing ribbed pipe 11 inhibit an increase in manufacturing cost and secure the strength of the perforated pipe 10. When the perforated pipe 10 is back-filled with crushed stones, the crushed stones collide with the ribs 14 and so they are prevented from entering between the ribs 14. The permeability of the perforated pipe 10 is therefore maintained for a long time without plugging the through-holes 20.
