A post-processing device includes a perforating device including: a perforating blade; a crossing-directional moving part which moves the perforating blade in a crossing direction; a converting mechanism which converts rotary motion in a first rotating direction R1 by a rotating member into reciprocal motion; and a rotary drive part which drives the rotating member to rotate. When a reference position detection part 252 detects the perforating blade 222 being moved to a perforation through position side via a perforation reference position in the case that a rotary drive control part 320 performs control to stop the perforating blade 222 at the perforation reference position, the rotary drive control part controls the rotary drive part 242 to move the perforating blade 222 to the perforation reference position side, and a crossing-directional movement control part 310 controls the crossing-directional movement part 270 to move the perforating blade 222 to a crossing-directional standby position.
