To provide an analyzer capable of evaluating the dispensing performance of a dispensing mechanism in an own unit.

This analyzer includes the dispensing mechanism; an imaging mechanism imaging a liquid dispensed by the dispensing mechanism and measuring a capacity thereof; and a data processing mechanism calculating an average dispensation amount of each dispensation based on image data imaged by the imaging mechanism of a target capacity of liquid dispensed in a plurality of times by the dispensing mechanism, and figuring out based on the average dispensation amount how much dispensation amount deviates from the target capacity. This allows the automatic performance evaluation of the dispensing mechanism in the analyzer simply by supplying a fluorescent dye solution to the analyzer without providing the analyzer with a precision electronic balance and an absorption spectrometer which are not indispensable to the analyzer.
