PURPOSE: To provide the perfume-contg. seal for timepiece which is convenient to carry and vaporizes perfume at need so as to enable a user to enjoy various kinds of perfumes by forming a perfume retaining layer in which microcapsules sealed with aroma components are incorporated on the uppermost surface and working the lowermost surface as a tacky adhesive surface.

CONSTITUTION: This perfume-contg. seal for timepiece is composed, successively from above, of the perfume retaining layer 8 in which microcapsules encapsulated with aroma components are incorporated, a hologram protective layer 7, a hologram forming layer 6 on which unit calendars are recorded as hologram images and a tacky adhesive layer 5. The perfume-contg. seal for timepiece is stuck onto a laminated paper base material 2 having a release agent layer 4 and a printing layer 3 printed with characters, graphics, etc,. on its front surface. The perfume retaining layer 8 is composed of ink prepd. by dispersing gelation encapsulated with aroma components and microcapsules such as urea resin into varnish. In the microcapsules, the aroma components are stably encapsulated therein until the aroma components are evaporated. The microcapsules are easily broken with the extent of rubbing the seal with fingertips, by which the aroma components are vaporized.
